Dancing With The Stars is back on TV with a brand new season, and I seriously couldn’t be happier. Granted I love the dancing part of it- duh, it is a dancing show. But what I love most of all, is obviously, the makeup the celebrities and the professional dancers wear.
And of course I already have a favorite celebrity I’m watching and pulling for. It’s one of the supposed underdogs- Kelly Osbourne. You know, the daughter of hard rocking prince of darkness Ozzy Osbourne. I know she’s not a supermodel, swimsuit model, olympic swimmer, or pop star, she’s the exact opposite. But that’s why I am rooting for the tattooed reality star. I’m still wondering if tonights long sleeved, long skirt, and scarf (worn during the Viennese Waltz) were strategically placed to cover up all those girly tats?? But despite the wardrobes choices for her, her performances were shockingly good!
Makeup wise, Kelly has never been one to shy away from theatrical makeup. But despite the lotsa love for makeup, she has such a natural beauty about her that I just can’t resist. My fav part about Kelly is her skin– it’s flawless and fair as can be and she works it right. No self tanner needed here, just some SPF to keep away sun spots and some good foundation to even skin tone.
Here are some suggestions for K.O. like skin:
1. Foundation. Clinique’s Even Better Makeup SPF 15 ($25) will help even out skintone with it’s vitamin C and E contents that will gradually fade dark spots.
2. Powder. Makeup Up For Ever’s HD Microfinish Powder ($30) always gets huge props for being the perfect finishing powder for setting your makeup look. It’s super fine and lightweight and the colorless formula keeps skin shine free and doesn’t alter the color of your foundation.
3. Concealer. Olay Total Effects Eye Cream and Concealer ($22) can do two things at once. It can hydrate and protect your tired under eye skin skin with it’s packed antioxidants while also covering late nights with subtle color.
Go Team Kelly! Can’t wait to see what makeup you sport next episode;-)
