It's Okay To Wear Pink And Red Together

Sorry for the lag in blogs lately, but the pollen has literally taken over my household.  And if you've ever dealt with a 7 month old AND a 3 year old who are sick at the same time and who can't breathe through their noses, then you realize why makeup and blogging has been put on the back burner.  I've been a little busy;-)

But luckily I'm back at it and just so excited to try out the the very happy color blocking trend going on these days.  I've mainly seen it in fashion but it can also be worked out on the face as well.

And I wanted to try it with a color combination that most people don't think you can actually wear together on one face- pink and red.  I decided to do the pink cheeks and bright red lips combination.

And I even spilled this color blocking trend over to my fingernails! Pink, red, pink, and red!

I've done this colorful nail look before here, and have just fallen in love with the idea of decorating my manicure with alternating colors.
