Happy Birthday First Born

"We turn not older with years, but NEWER every day."
Emily Dickinson

{Me with the BIG 6 year old!}

Today, March 20th, is the first day of spring (yay!) but more importantly, it's the day my first born son Jack "sprung" (yes I did) into our lives!!  This little boy was the baby my hubby and I had prayed and prayed for for over two years of wanting a child and going through many heartaches, let downs, and fertility treatments.  Fortunately God has his own perfect timing and finally blessed me with the sweetest little baby boy who made me a mama 6 years ago today.  I could go on and on about this little guy and how he has enriched my life so far as well as the people around him, but I won't bore you with sappy mom stuff!!  I'm off to finish prepping for his party before this afternoon (blog post of his "baseball" themed party thanks to Pinterest to come) so I'm keeping this post short and sweet.

We couldn't ask for a more beautiful first day of spring here in Georgia - it's going to be sunny and 84- perfect day for a party!!!  Are you excited about the official first day of spring??

Wow, to think y'all prayed for a baby for 2 years and now have 3 sweet babies!! What a blessing and testimony to God's faithfulness.

Happiest of Birthdays to precious Jack! Every time I see a pic of him I think of that adorable video of him at his first UGA Hoops game when we finally beat those gators at home :) Goodness, he's growing up so fast!

Wishing him a terrific, special day and God's best blessings on his life in abundance.

@Marisa- love your son's name, what a cool kid he must be with a name like that!! happy bday to him as well! i like the 6 yr olds, they are so neat to be around and becoming such a grown "little" people!
@Ally- I know right??!! We had so much trouble having Jack (then went thru fertility treatments to get Walker too!), but now we've ended up with 3- I never in a million years would have believed it. I swear the only thing that got me thru all of that waiting, was keeping faith that God knew what was right for me and our family. So funny you remember that gator/uga game video- it was a good one:) Your comments always make me smile, thanks lady.
