{MAC polish in "In the Limelight" ($17.50.)}
This creamy mint green isn't the dark winter-like nail color I usually go for, but is actually a refreshing change that goes towards the turquoise side. So after painting my nails the night the package came to my house (seriously), the next morning I felt the need to try mint green on my eyes! I love that a small dose of this shade actually made my eyes pop like they had Christmas lights around them!!
I used a mint green color from my E.l.f. palette (here) and applied it just from the lash line right up to the crease. I also put a dab of it in the inner corners and outer corners of my eyes for a bit of sparkle! Then I grounded it and added dimension by adding a brown shadow right in the crease, along with a Physicians Formula Eye Booster in brown liquid liner right on top. Blush is "melon" by Sonia Kashuk and lips are a combo of L'Oreal Infallible gloss in "sangria" with Too Faced Glamour Gloss in "barely legal" in the center.
Even though I think this color scheme would look way better on more tan skin, I think I pulled it off by adding plenty of blush and a neutral lip color.
What do you think of this shade? Does it look winter-y green or spring-y green??
