I just love the beanie, especially now that the temperatures are finally dipping. I don’t like having a cold head or ears, and I just can’t get into earmuffs, they make me feel like I’m 12 years old! The beanie looks so hip, cool, and is functional!! I own a few from years past but this striped one from Target above ($17) is now getting lots of wear because of the multiple colors in it – it literally matches almost everything in my winter closet!
And it wouldn’t be a beauty blog if I didn’t fill you in on my hair and makeup right!! Granted, I use beanies when I don’t want to do a dang thing with my hair, but if I want to do a bit of extra effort into my beanie baby look – I’ll either do a large loose braid underneath or use my new favorite curling wand by Conair. It heats up so fast, curls in an instant, and stays put. Best $20 I ever spent on a hair tool.

My Too Faced palette is starting to look kind of sad and worn, but that just shows the true love I have for matte shadows and colors it offers! When looking at my colors placement above, #4 is actually the only shimmer I used and it is courtesy of THE best nude shimmer product on the market -the BareMinerals Glimmer in “nude beach,” $14 and I apply it right in the tear duct to brighten everything up. I know that’s a big statement but trust me, I’ve had it for over 5 years – going on number 3 bought. You know that’s a good product because it hasn’t been discontinued! I use my butter London cream blush in “honey pie” because well, my skin is about as dry as you can get and powder blushes just sit on top of that scaly skin. Lips are courtesy of this Mally Beauty gloss in “southern peach” which just seems right for this Georgia girl:)
