Sometimes I stray from how makeup can make you feel like a more beautiful version of your natural self. And even though I truly believe that makeup is magic in that sense, I also believe that female bonding with friends can make you feel even more beautiful on the inside, which eventually projects on the outside – no lip gloss needed…
Female Bonding
{A moment with my goddaughter, Susie.}
{My group of besties with ladies I’ve known from 2nd grade all the way to college!}
This group picture is of my supper club group that gets together once a month. We all try to make an effort to make it each time, because we are all spread out in different areas and with our busy family and work lives, some of us barely get to even chat on the phone between supper clubs. So this is our time to catch up with what is happening in each others lives, celebrate birthdays and pregnancies (we were celebrating two bdays and one baby on the way this month), discuss issues on our hearts, and just plain enjoy each others company.
I’m a big proponent of female bonding time, and I want my own daughter (and goddaughter above!) to see what a blessing and special gift it is to have a great close knit group of friends. Here are a few of my favorite quotes about friendship thanks to Pinterest...
I love this last one because since I am an only child, I feel like all of the females in my life (including this group of great ladies too!) are like the sisters I never had!
How important is getting together to bond with a close group of female friends to you?? Have a great weekend everyone!
